Day 2: Paris: The Mona Luisa

 

Staying up for over 30 hours will cause one to sleep like a rock.  We got up and dressed, and hurried down for the free breakfast that the Paris Hilton had provided for

us.  I was expecting a continental breakfast, but they had a huge buffet setup with all the usual things you find in a light European breakfast, but also things found in an American Breakfast.  I figured that this might be the last chance for a big morning meal for several days, so I loaded my plate up with both.  A croissant, a thin slice of ham, cheese, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, etc.  It was very good.

 

This was the first trip to Europe for Luis.  The day before when we had a bottle of wine during both lunch and dinner, I looked at him and said,
